Deleting the temporary files is helpful for troubleshooting data and applications issues because they can get corrupted sometimes. The temporary files can also accumulate on the hard drive over time and that it is important to delete them from time to time to free up hard drive space as well as for improving performance. There are various temporary internet files and Windows 10 provides a place where you can delete all of them at once.

Here are the steps to delete temporary files on Windows 10 operating system.

1. Right-click on the START button that is located on the bottom left corner of the screen and click on SYSTEM option.


2. Click the STORAGE category on the left pane.


3. Click the TEMPORARY FILES option on the right pane.


Windows will scan for temporary files on the computer which will take a while.


4. You can choose if which temporary files that you want to delete. Click the REMOVE FILES button afterwards.
