Turn On Night Lights On Windows 10 Pro

The LCD monitors produces blue light that will reduce the production of melatonin hormones that induces sleep. Though there is no solid scientific evidence yet that blue light can cause harm to the eyes, it is best to always take care of your health. The eyes are very important and proper care must always be part of the daily health care routine. You should get enough rest after an hour or two of being in front of the monitor, eat yellow foods, and have a sound sleep. Wearing corrective and or protective eyeglasses is highly recommended too. Eyeglasses can be coated with materials that can block blue light. The Windows 10 Pro have a feature to turn on night lights where warmer colors will be displayed on the screen to help you sleep. Thereby, this will serve as an alarm clock that you now need to take a break and prepare for bedtime.

Here are the steps to turn on the blue light feature on Windows 10 Pro.

1. Right-click on a free area on the Desktop view and choose DISPLAY SETTINGS option.


2. Under the Display settings window, click on the switch labeled NIGHT LIGHT to turn it on. In this case, the warmer colors will kick in at 9:00 PM.


3. Click the red X button located at the top right corner to close the Settings window.
