Uninstall Updates On Windows 10 Through Windows Settings

The Windows updates on Windows 10 Home will automatically download and install once you are connected to the internet to make your computer secure and stable. On the other hand, there are times that the updates will cause big problems such as freezing and blue screen errors also known as BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) that will force your computer to restart without the chance of being able to save the things that you are working on. Unfortunately, there are no easy fix to problematic updates but to remove them from your computer and disable the automatic updates.

Here are the steps to uninstall the Windows updates on Windows 10 Home edition through the Windows Settings.

1. Right-click on the START button that is usually located at the bottom left corner of the screen and choose SETTINGS option.


2. Scroll down the Windows Settings by using the scroll bar on the right edge if all the options are not present.


3. Click the UPDATE & SECURITY category.


4. Click the VIEW UPDATE HISTORY link.


5. Click the UNINSTALL UPDATES link.


6. Click on the update that you want to uninstall, which in this case, click on UPDATE FOR MICROSOFT WINDOWS (KB4346084) to choose it.


7. Click on the UNINSTALL button that appeared.


8. Click the YES button to confirm the uninstallation of the chosen update.


The uninstallation of the update will be processed.



9. Make sure to save the things that you are working on then click the RESTART NOW button afterwards.
