The Mozilla Firefox software is a free and open source web browser developed by Mozilla Foundation that can be used, copied, and distributed under MPL 2.0. The Home icon is present on the Toolbar of newly installed Mozilla Firefox software and it can be removed anytime. The Home icon will take you to the Startup page of the Mozilla Firefox web browser by default when you click it. The Startup page consists of the Web Search, Top Sites, Highlights, and Snippets. The Startup page can also be set to a blank page only or to a website that you prefer, like to your e-mail account page. The Home icon is very useful because it is omnipresent that it will take you right away to the Startup page or to your preferred website. If the Home icon is missing for whatever reason, you can always put it back with a few steps.
Here are the steps to put back the Home icon to the Toolbar of the Mozilla Firefox web browser version 79.0 for Windows, the steps are just the same or similar to fairly older or newer versions.
1. Click the MENU icon that looks like three horizontal lines on top of each other that is located at the top right corner of the Mozilla Firefox window, and then click on CUSTOMIZE option.
2. Right-click the HOME icon and click on ADD TO TOOLBAR option.
3. The Home icon is now showing at the right end of the Toolbar. Click the X icon of the Customize Firefox tab.
