Show Apps View Automatically When Clicking On Windows 8.1 Start Button

The Windows 8.1 Start button is very different from the previous versions of Windows operating system. Clicking the Windows 8.1 Start button that is usually located at the bottom left corner of the screen will show you Tiles of selected apps and location. At the bottom left section of this Start view is an icon that looks like an arrow pointing upward inside a circle that will take you to the Apps view when clicked. The Apps view shows the icon of each software and their components installed on the computer. You can set the Windows 8.1 to automatically show the Apps view instead when clicking the Start button, in this way, you can launch the software that you want to use right away.

Here are the steps to set the Windows 8.1 operating system to automatically show the Apps view when clicking the Start button.

1. Right-click anywhere on a free area of the Taskbar and choose PROPERTIES option.


2. Click on the NAVIGATION tab.


3. Click the tick box labeled "Show the Apps view automatically when I go to Start" to put a check mark in it.


4. Click the OK button to save the setting.
