The Brave software is a free and open-source web browser developed by Brave Software, Inc. based on the Chromium web browser. The Brave web browser is known for revenue sharing so that users will earn money while browsing the internet. You can add more capability to the Brave web browser by installing extensions (also known as add-ons) such as password managers, video downloaders, security enhancers, and so on. The extensions are small software made by third party developers in the form of source codes. You can install as many extensions that you want but each one will add load to the browser that can slow it down to the point that it will freeze. You can disable the extensions that you will not be needing for a long time and only leave the ones that you really need enabled.
Here are the steps to install an extension on Brave web browser for Windows.
1. Click the CUSTOMIZE AND CONTROL icon that looks like three horizontal lines on top of each other located at the top right corner of the Brave window and click on EXTENSIONS option.
2. Click the WEB STORE link (Scroll down to the bottom of the Extensions page if it is not present). This will actually take you to the Chrome Web Store because Brave software is also using the Google Chrome extensions.
3. You can choose among the recommended extensions or type the name of the extension into the search box labeled "Search the store", in this case, type foxclocks to install the FoxClocks extension. Hit the ENTER key on the keyboard afterwards.
4. Click the ADD TO BRAVE button for the FoxClocks extension.
5. Click the ADD EXTENSION button.
The FoxClocks extension will download and install automatically.
The FoxClocks extension is now installed, its icon is showing at the far right end of the Brave toolbar, and the clocks are now showing at the bottom part.
