Delete Profile (User, Person) On Mozilla Firefox 79.0

If there are other users on your computer like family members or employees, you can create additional user profiles on the Mozilla Firefox web browser so that each user will have their own bookmarks, settings, and browsing data. In this way, each user will not be able to mess up with each other preferences except if they intend to do it. If you are the only person who uses your computer, there are also advantages in creating different user profiles like for your personal use and for work use. Firefox saves your personal information such as bookmarks, passwords, and user preferences in a set of files called your profile, which is stored in a separate location from the Firefox program files. You can delete user profiles anytime like if one of the user profiles is not being used anymore, like from an employee.

Here are the steps to delete a user profile on Mozilla Firefox web browser version 79.0 for Windows. The steps are just the same or similar to fairly older or newer versions.

1. Right-click or left click on the START button that is usually located at the bottom left corner of the screen, and then click on RUN option. (Alternatively, you can press down the WINDOWS key that is in between the CTRL and ALT key of the keyboard, and then hit the letter R key.)

2. Type firefox.exe -P into the "Open:" field box and click the OK button.

3. Click the profile that you need to delete, in this case, click the EMPLOYEE profile to highlight it.

4. Click the DELETE PROFILE... button.

5. Click the DON'T DELETE FILES to save the personal preferences associated with the profile just in case you need to restore them.

6. Click the EXIT button.
