The Mozilla Firefox software provides the option to have multiple users in just one installation of this web browser which are called profiles and without the need to register an online account which therefore each profiles can be accessed without signing on. Each user profiles have their own personal information such as bookmarks, passwords, and user preferences. In this way, other users of the computer will not be able to mess with your browser preferences as well as your saved bookmarks. You can also use your profile to transfer your personal information and preferences to another installation of the Firefox web browser without affecting the personal information and preferences of the other users.
Here are the steps to create a new profile for another user on Firefox web browser version 79.0. The steps are just the same or similar to fairly older or newer versions of the Mozilla Firefox software.
1. Right-click on the START button that is usually located on the bottom left corner of the screen and choose RUN option.
2. Type firefox.exe -P into the field box labeled "Open:" and click the OK button.
3. Click the CREATE PROFILE button.
4. Click the NEXT button.
5. Type the name that you would like for the new user profile into the field box labeled "Enter new profile name:", in this case, type Mommy for the mother. Click the FINISH button once done.
6. Click the tick box labeled "Use the selected profile without asking at startup" to remove the check in it. In this way, you will be presented with the Profile Manager every time you start the Firefox web browser and choose the user profile to use.
7. Click the EXIT button.
8. The new user profile is ready. Double-click the FIREFOX icon on the desktop to launch the Firefox web browser.
9. Click on MOMMY from the list of profiles to highlight it. Click the START FIREFOX button.
The user profile for mommy is now ready to start browsing the internet.
