Add Person (User, Profile) On Google Chrome Version 84

If there are other people in the household who are also using the same computer like family members, it is best if you add a person user on the Google Chrome web browser so that each user will have their own settings and bookmarks. The equivalent of adding a person user on other browsers like the Mozilla Firefox is called profile. You do not have to worry about your settings getting changed and your bookmarks getting deleted or messed up if each family member has their own profiles on the Google Chrome web browser. The Google Chrome will also provide a desktop shortcut icon named after each person to launch the web browser specifically for their own use. Each person users can also sign on to their respective Google accounts to synchronize their preferences to their own mobile devices.

Here are the steps to add a person user on Google Chrome web browser version 84, the steps are just the same or similar to fairly older or newer versions.

1. Click the PERSON icon that is located on the top right corner of the Google Chrome window. Click the ADD option.


2. Type the name of the family member whom you will be adding in the "Name" field box, which in this case, type Mommy for mother's use.


3. Choose an icon to represent the Mommy user, which in this case, click on the PANDA icon.


4. Click the ADD button.


The new Google Chrome person user is now ready to use. The Mommy user can now have its own settings and bookmarks.


New Google Chrome software icons for the person users will be created to the desktop to launch their own web browser windows.
