The Bookmarks section of the Opera browser is the place where you save the web addresses of the websites that you frequently visit or you intend to visit in the future so that you do not have to memorize each of their web addresses and type them into the web address bar every time you want to open them. This is similar to the contacts list of your cellphone so that you do not have to memorize each of the telephone numbers of people and key them in when you call them. From time to time, you may accumulate bookmarks and you must make a backup copy of them from time to time so that you can simply restore them if your browser became inoperable or if you need to reinstall it. You can also use the backup copy of your bookmarks to transfer them to another browser or computer.
Here are the steps to import or restore a backup copy of the bookmarks on Opera version 68, the steps are just the same or similar to the older or newer versions.
