The KMPlayer or the Korean Media Player is a media player that can play all if not most video and audio files from MP3 to MP4 formats and their motto is "We play all". The KMPlayer is fast, rich in features and settings that even tiny details that can be adjusted for your media experience is available. Surprisingly, the KMPlayer can also be set to automatically shutdown the computer after finishing playing a movie or a musical album which is very helpful if you like listening to music away from the computer. You can also set the KMPlayer to automatically shutdown the computer at a specified time which is very useful for other purposes outside the real intended purpose of the media player itself.
Here are the steps to set the KMPlayer to automatically shutdown the computer at a specified time.
1. Right-click on any area of the KMPlayer window and choose OPTIONS, then click on PREFERENCES... option.

2. Click the REPEAT/PLAYLIST option under the "General" category that is on the left pane of the Preferences window.

3. Click the check box labeled "Shutdown Windows at the specified time" to put a check in it.

4. Set your specified time when to shutdown the computer.

5. Click the CLOSE button.

6. Click the MINIMIZE button located on the top right corner of the KMPlayer window to minimize it to the Windows Taskbar. (Do not close the KMPlayer because the setting to shutdown the computer at specified time will only take effect while the KMPlayer is open.)

Once the specified time to shutdown the computer has been reached, there will be a pop up counter that will appear in the middle of the screen. If you are at the computer and you want to abort the shutdown, you have 10 seconds to click the CANCEL button.
