Always Start KMPlayer With Default Presets

The KMPlayer is one of the best media players that can play all if not most media files from MP3 to MP4 without installing codecs and their motto is "We play all". The KMPlayer is also rich in features and settings for every details of a media file and you can mess with them without worrying because you can always reset the settings to its defaults. You do not actually have to do any adjustment on the settings of a newly installed KMPlayer because it is already set to its optimal settings; you just play and enjoy it. On the other hand, you may encounter a media file or medium that you may need to adjust the setting for you to be able to experience the proper listening and viewing. You may also experiment on the settings to learn on the different features of the media player as well as discover something that might be useful to you. On KMPlayer, you can set it to always start with the default settings that is why you can always mess with the settings and everything will go back to normal the next time you launch it.

Here are the steps to set the KMPlayer to always start with the default presets, the steps are just the same or similar to the newer or older versions.

1. Right-click on any area of the KMPlayer window, choose OPTIONS from the menu, then click on PREFERENCES... option. (Alternatively, you can simply press the F2 key on the keyboard.)


2. Scroll down the left pane until you reach the bottom part.


3. Click on the CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT category.


4. Click the check box labeled "Start The KMPlayer with Default Preset" to put a check in it.


5. Click the CLOSE button.
