Set KMPlayer To Shutdown Computer After Playing Musical Album

The KMPlayer (Korean Media Player) is one of the best media player that can play both video and music files. Its motto of "We play all" is real because you can play any multimedia files from MP4 to MP3 without installing any codecs. Other than its dark interface, it is also rich in features and settings that you can utilize. Interestingly, the KMPlayer can be set to automatically shutdown or turn off the computer after playing a musical album. People have different habits in listening to music, there are people who do it while in the shower, there are people who fall asleep while listening to a rocking music, and so on. For whatever reason, you can set the KMPlayer to automatically shutdown the computer after playing a musical album, in this way, you can enjoy the music while doing your chores and you do not have to worry about forgetting to turn off the computer.

Here are the steps to set the KMPlayer to automatically turn off the computer after finishing playing a musical album.

1. Right-click on any part of the KMPlayer window, then choose OPTIONS, and then click on PREFERENCES... option.


2. Click the REPEAT/PLAYLIST category on the right pane.


3. Click the drop down menu labeled "Audio:" under the "When Finished (Album has been fully played)..." category of the GENERAL tab, then choose SHUTDOWN WINDOWS (ONCE) option.


4. Click the CLOSE button.


NOTE:
This setting is only effective until you closed the KMPlayer software. This means that you need to do the steps again the next time you launched the KMPlayer if you need to automatically shutdown the computer after playing a musical album.

You can now play your musical album and enjoy it.


Once it reached the end of the last song, a counter will appear that will give you a 10 second window to cancel the shutdown.




NOTE:
If you happen to cancel the shutdown, the automatic shutdown setting will still be on effect until you closed the KMPlayer window.
