Delete All Or Multiple Bookmarks On Google Chrome

The Bookmarks section of the Google Chrome browser is where you save the web addresses of the websites that you frequently visit so that you just go back to them from the Bookmarks list instead of typing their web addresses into the web address bar every time you want to open them. You can delete any of your bookmarked websites one by one from the Bookmarks bar or from the Bookmarks menu. From time to time, you may need to do some organizing and cleaning of your bookmarks list and deleting them one by one is a tedious task and time consuming too. Thankfully, you can go to the Bookmarks manager if you need to delete multiple bookmarks or all of them.

Here are the steps to delete all or multiple bookmarks from your Bookmarks section on Google Chrome version 70. The steps are the same or similar to the older or newer versions.

1. Click the CUSTOMIZE AND CONTROL icon located on the top right corner of the Google Chrome window, then choose BOOKMARKS option, and then click on BOOKMARK MANAGER option. (You can also use the keyboard shortcut by pressing both the CTRL and SHIFT keys of the keyboard at the same time, while pressing them, hit the letter O key.)

2. Click on the first bookmark that you want to delete to highlight it.

3. Press and hold the SHIFT key of the keyboard and click the last bookmark that you want to delete. All of the bookmarks from the first one to the last one will be highlighted.

4. Click the DELETE button located on the top right area of the Bookmarks manager page to delete all the highlighted bookmarks.

In this case, all of the bookmarks were deleted. You can click the UNDO option if in case you changed your mind about deleting them.
