The browser software is used to open the webpages of a website and privacy is important. Your browsing history is saved to your computer every time you open webpages. You are also saving the webpages files to your computer like temporary internet files and cookies. The temporary files are the content of the webpages that you accessed like text and pictures, and the cookies is the identification of the website. These information are not automatically deleted from the computer after you closed the browser or even after you turned off the computer. With private browsing, it ensures that your internet history and activity are removed as soon as you close all private windows. On the other hand, the information that you intentionally saved like downloaded pictures, videos, and documents, passwords, as well as saving the site to your speed dial and bookmarks will not be removed. Please note however, that the private window only provides privacy from other people who will use your computer but it will not shield your browsing history from the website that you are visiting and from your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
Here are the steps to browse using private window on Opera browser.
1. Click on the MENU button located on the top left corner of the Opera window.
2. Choose NEW PRIVATE WINDOW option.
You can now start opening webpages.
