Media players like the KMPlayer have an option to prevent the Windows Screen Saver from activating while watching a video which of course makes sense. You would not like the screen saver popping up while watching a video. On the other hand, they still provide the option to allow the screen saver to activate even while watching a video for whatever purpose it may serve. If you do not set the KMPlayer to prevent the screen saver, the screen saver will activate even if you are currently watching a video and the video will pause at the point when the screen saver activated. However, I noticed that the audio will still keep on playing which is also the same when you play songs, that make sense too. If in case the screen saver is popping up while watching a video using the KMPlayer and you do not want to turn off the Windows Screen Saver itself, you can set the KMPlayer to suppress it instead.
Here are the steps to set the KMPlayer to prevent the Windows Screen Saver.
1. Right-click on any area of the KMPlayer window and choose SCREEN CONTROLS, then choose ON TOP option, then click the PREVENT SCREENSAVER option.
