The Google Chrome browser also uses Adobe Flash plugin to play audios and videos on websites such as YouTube. With the Adobe Flash, websites come alive with videos, animations, and games. If there is no audio or the videos are not playing on the websites, it is possible that the Adobe Flash plugin is disabled on the settings of the Chrome browser. Though there are security vulnerabilities that are regularly found in Adobe Flash Player, this does not mean that your computer will be compromised if you enable the Adobe Flash plugin on your browser as long as you practice safe internet. The Adobe Flash file is a very famous media file format which is widely used, unfortunately, Adobe will stop supporting Flash by the end of year 2020.
Here are the steps to enable the Adobe Flash plugin on Chrome version 67.
1. On the top right corner of the Chrome 67 window, click the menu icon that have three dots arranged vertically, then choose SETTINGS option.
2. Scroll down the Settings page and click the ADVANCED options.
3. Click the CONTENT SETTINGS category.
4. Click the FLASH option.
5. Switch the slider button to the right to turn on the Adobe Flash plugin.
6. Click the X button of the Settings page.
