A browser is a software that connects to the servers on the internet to retrieve information and present it to the user's computer. The first web browser was invented not too long ago, which was in 1990, by Sir Tim Berners-Lee. Today, there are now many browsers that are competing to each other and one of them is the Google Chrome. Google used to be a search engine service provider only until it became big that it also have to create its own browser. The browser stores information on the computer, which are actually the webpage files of the websites that you accessed and they will accumulate in time. Though there are no sensitive information that get stored on the computer, it is necessary to clear the computer of these stored information by the browser, which is called the browser cache. Clearing the browser cache not only clears the space on the hard drive but this will also give better performance to the browser. Clearing the browser cache will also make the browser download updated information from the website that you are frequently accessing.
