Turn Off Screen Saver On Windows 8.1

The Screen Saver is an animation in the screen that gets activated when the computer is left idle for a specified amount of time. The screen saver was invented to prevent burnt pixels on the screen when the computer is left idle. Basically, the screen get burnt when a static ray of light is left focused for a very long period of time. However, this problem is only applicable on CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) monitors during the early years of the computers. All in all, there are at least three purposes for the Screen Saver today, to save the CRT monitors from getting burnt pixels, for beautification, and for security reasons. Since most of the monitors today are now LCD (Liquid Crystal Display), the screen saver is not necessary anymore but rather for eye candy purposes only.
