Pin Apps To Windows 8.1 Taskbar

The Windows 8.1 Start menu is very elaborate compared to the previous versions of Windows operating system because it is very difficult to access the applications that you need to open. I do not actually mean it is very hard but you will need to have to click a lot than it used to be with the previous Windows versions. If you have an application that you frequently use, it is best to pin it to the Taskbar so that you just need one click to open it. The Taskbar is the horizontal strip located in the bottom of the screen that has the START button on its left end and the time at its right end with many buttons (icons) in between. When you pin an application to the Taskbar, it will become one of the buttons there so that you just click it to open the application.

Here are the steps to pin an application to the Windows 8.1 Taskbar.

1. Right-click on the application that you want to pin to the Taskbar and choose PIN TO TASKBAR option, which in this case is the Paint application.

The Paint application now has a button in the Taskbar.
