Lock Windows 8.1 Taskbar

The Windows 8.1 Taskbar is the horizontal strip located on the bottom part of the screen by default that has the Start button on its left end and the clock at its right end with colorful buttons in between. The Taskbar is like a toolbox where the things that you usually need are located so that you can easily access them. The Desktop is also another area that acts like your toolbox but it gets obscured when there are programs that are already opened. The Taskbar can also be moved to the top, left, or right edges of the screen and it can be resized too. You can only move or resize the Taskbar if it is not locked and you can lock it if you do not want any of that to happen inadvertently.

Here are the steps to lock the Windows 8.1 Taskbar.

First Method:
1. Right-click on a free area of the Taskbar and choose LOCK THE TASKBAR option.
