Do Not Show Recycle Bin's Delete Confirmation On Windows 8.1

The Recycle Bin is the area on Windows operating system where the deleted files and folders are dumped so that you still have the option to retrieve them when needed. Even though the files and folders are deleted, they still consume hard drive space as long as they are in the Recycle Bin up to the maximum size it can contain files and folders. For performance and security reasons, it is recommended that you empty the Recycle Bin if you are sure enough that you do not need the files in it anymore. When deleting files and folders on Windows 8.1, there is a dialogue box that will display asking you if you are sure that you want to move the items to the Recycle Bin. This dialogue box is a safety net for inadvertently deleting important files even though you can still retrieve them at a later time from the Recycle Bin. On a different story, there may come a time that you may be doing a spring cleaning on your computer by deleting files that you do not need anymore and the delete confirmation dialogue box of the Recycle Bin can be annoying for always clicking on it every time you delete a file. Therefore, you can set the Recycle Bin not to display the delete confirmation dialogue box anymore for the time being.

Here are the steps to set the Recycle Bin of Windows 8.1 not to display the delete confirmation window anymore when deleting files and folders.

1. Right-click on the RECYCLE BIN icon and choose PROPERTIES option.

2. Click the check box for "Display delete confirmation dialog" to remove the check in it.

3. Click OK button.
