Disable Offer To Save Passwords On Opera 30.0

The Opera program is one of the fastest growing browsers in the world that shares the market with Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. Unfortunately, the Opera 30.0 version does not have the feature anymore to save a webpage into a single file (.mhtml). One of the unique features of the Opera 30.0 version (and some older versions) is the Speed Dial that presents your favorite websites as thumbnails in the opening page. The Opera 30.0 version also has the feature to offer to save passwords of online accounts when you sign on to them. This feature is helpful because you do not have to type your user names and their passwords every time you sign on to your online accounts but this feature is only safe if you are the only person who uses your computer. For security reasons, it is best if you disable the feature to offer to save passwords when signing on to your online accounts because you will never know if when someone will have the opportunity to look into your computer. An incident of leaving the computer for just a couple of minutes can give anyone a peep into your saved passwords.

Here are the steps to disable the option of offering to save the passwords of your online accounts on Opera 30.0.

1. Click the OPERA button located in the top left corner of the Opera browser, then click on SETTINGS option.

2. Click the PRIVACY & SECURITY category on the left pane.

3. Scroll down the "Privacy & security" page until you find the "Passwords" category.

4. Click the check box for "Offer to save passwords I enter on the web" to remove its check mark.

5. Click the X button of the "Privacy & security" page.
