Uninstall A Program/Software On Windows 8.1

There are times that when you buy a new computer with a preloaded operating system, the computer manufacturer will put other program or software that you may not need at all, where others call bloatwares. These bloatwares can slow down the boot up time of the computer as well as consume system resources on the processor, memory, and hard drive space. In cases like this, it is best to uninstall them from the computer to experience the optimum computing experience. In other cases, you may also have other programs that you installed on the computer that you may not need anymore after a long time, like a game. High tier games many not consume system resources on the processor and memory while they are not being played but they surely consume a lot of hard drive space. Therefore, if you have already finished playing the game and does not use it anymore, it is advisable to uninstall it from the computer to free up big amount of hard drive space to give way to other programs, pictures, and movies.

Here are the steps to uninstall a program/software on Windows 8.1 operating system.

1. Right-click on the THIS PC icon that is on the desktop and choose OPEN option.


2. Click the UNINSTALL OR CHANGE A PROGRAM icon of the Windows Explorer toolbar that is across the top.


3. Scroll down the list by sliding the slider that is on the left edge of the Programs and Features window until you find the program that you want to uninstall.


4. Click the program that you want to uninstall, which in this case, click the SNIPER GHOST WARRIOR program.


5. Click the UNINSTALL button.


6. Click the YES button on the Uninstall dialogue box.


7. Click OK button.
