Put Screen Saver On Window 8.1

The screen saver was invented many years ago to protect the screen from getting burnt pixel. If you leave the computer on with nothing moving in the screen or everything is still, there is a tendency that the projected light to the surface of the monitor's screen will get burnt and leave a permanent mark, and this is during the days where monitors are still made up of CRT (Cathode Ray Tube). If you are not aware of the purpose of the screen saver and why it is called that, you may have the impression that it was for beautification purposes only. There are a number of different selections of screen savers you can choose on Windows 8.1 operating system but you can also install others made by other people. By default, no screen saver is selected on a newly installed Windows 8.1 operating system.
