Set Winamp To Scroll Song Title In The Windows Taskbar

Everyone will agree that Winamp is an awesome MP3 player from its very good sound, skins, tricks, and capabilities. It is also regularly updated to fix bugs and make it even better. It is one of the oldest MP3 players and was bought by AOL. One of the sleek things that I like with Winamp is the option to scroll the song title in the Windows Taskbar. This feature is not really a new thing anymore as most programmers already know how to do this trick, and that it is just a decoration, which therefore it is not necessary with Winamp's main operation, but it is still beautiful. The Winamp's main purpose is for entertainment therefore adding decorations like skins and tricks is an addition to its main purpose.

Here are the steps to set Winamp to scroll the title of the song that is currently being played on it in the Windows XP's taskbar.

1. Click the slanted X icon in the top left corner of Winamp, click on OPTIONS, then click on PREFERENCES... option.

2. If the General Preferences is not chosen in the left column, click the GENERAL PREFERENCES category first, then click the tick box that says "Scroll title in the Windows taskbar" to put a check in it, then click CLOSE button.

You will now see that the title is scrolling in the Winamp's label in the Windows Taskbar.
