Make The "Use Opera as default web browser" Window To Appear Again

If you open the Opera 11.64 browser and it is not set as the default browser on the computer, a small window titled "Use Opera as default web browser" will appear first that will give you the option to set it as the default browser on the computer. Setting the Opera browser as the default browser on the computer will make any webpages files to automatically open with it. In the "Use Opera as default web browser" window, you have the option to click YES or NO buttons. It also have the check box option "Do not show this dialog box again". If you put a check on the "Do not show this dialog box again" option and click NO button, meaning not to set Opera as the default browser on the computer, Opera will not check anymore whether it is the default browser or not and the "Use Opera as default web browser" window will not appear anymore. But if in case you changed your mind and now want to have Opera as the default browser on your computer, you can make the "Use Opera as default web browser" window to appear again so that you can click the YES button. And this is the only way through the Opera settings to make it as the default browser on the computer.



1. Click the OPERA button on the very top left corner of the Opera window, choose SETTINGS, and click PREFERENCES... option.


2. Click the ADVANCED tab of the "Preferences" dialogue box.


3. Click the PROGRAMS category in the left pane.


4. Click the "Check if Opera is default browser on startup" option to put a check in its tick box.


5. Click OK button.
