Hide "My Recent Documents" Of Start Menu

The "My Recent Documents" of the Start menu will list the documents that you recently opened on the computer. This includes documents like text, pictures, spreadsheets, PDF, web files, etc. This feature will give you easy access to the files again because it is most likely that you will open them again especially when you are working on them. The documents that you opened last will appear in the list. If you are not the only person who is using the computer, you may suspect that the next person who will use it will peek on the recently documents that you opened. And what you are thinking is true, thus this can be a security risk too. You have the option to set Windows XP not to show the "My Recent Documents" under the Start menu. Unfortunately, there is no option to stop it from listing your recently opened documents even if it is already hidden from the Start menu. In this case, just make sure that you clear the list after using the computer.
