Delete Cache Or Private Data On Opera 11.64

Clearing cache or other private data on Opera 11.64 is also a one stop shop. Modern browsers implement this method rather than going to many places to delete a particular private data just like in the old days with the Internet Explorer. Now, even with Internet Explorer 7.0 and above already implements this one stop shop method of clearing private data. The cache folder is the location where the files of the web pages that you accessed on the internet get downloaded to. These web pages files are also called temporary internet files. In the old days, if the browser is not able to open web pages, the primary remedy is to clear the browser cache and cookies. Because when the hard drive is already full of these temporary internet files, it lays burden to the browser when it parse these files. It is also necessary to clear the cache if the web pages that you frequently visit is not showing the updated content, this means the the browser is just opening the web page from the old files saved in the cache folder. Other than performance issue for the browser, you should also clear all other private data if you are using a public computer.

1. Click the read OPERA button on the top left corner of the Opera window, choose SETTINGS, and click on DELETE PRIVATE DATA....


2. Click the DETAILED OPTIONS button.


3. These options are checked by default: "Delete session cookies", "Delete all cookies", "Delete password protected pages and data", "Delete entire cache", "Delete plug-in data", "Delete geolocation data", "Clear history of visited pages", "Clear history of downloads", "Clear bookmark visited time", "Delete persistent storage", "Close all tabs".


The "Clear all email account passwords" and "Clear Password Manager" are not checked so that your saved passwords will not be deleted.

4. Click DELETE button.
