Adjust Screen Resolution In Windows Vista

The screen resolution setting of the computer should be set to the natural screen resolution of the monitor that you are using to achieve the best viewing experience. Adjusting the screen resolution lower will make everything in the screen bigger while adjusting it higher will make everything look smaller. Most of the time, the natural screen resolution of the monitor is the highest setting that you can set on the computer because when hardware were built at a time, they follow the specifications of each other to make them work harmoniously. Therefore, if you bought a new computer today and will use a very old monitor that was built many years ago, it is most likely that the monitor will not work properly with your new computer. Because in this scenario, the old monitor's natural screen resolution is very low while the screen resolution that you can set on the new computer is higher. Though you can still use the old monitor with the new computer, you will have to set the screen resolution of the computer lower to match the screen resolution of the old monitor.

In this example, you will learn on how to adjust the screen resolution in Windows Vista Home Premium.
