Set Multiple Default Homepages For Firefox 3.0.13

It is possible to set multiple default homepages for the Firefox 3.0.13. Not only two, not three, but more. This means, when you launch the Firefox browser, it will load all the all the web pages in tabs that you set as default homepages. This is an excellent feature like if you have different e-mail accounts that you need to open simultaneously, or what ever web pages that you need to be opened right away every time you open the Firefox browser. You can now simply launch your Firefox browser to open your different favorite web pages at the same time by just launching your Firefox browser.

1. Double-click the FIREFOX icon on the desktop to open it. Alternately, you can open the Firefox browser by clicking the START button and choose FIREFOX. Or, click the START button, choose ALL PROGRAMS, and choose FIREFOX.

2. Click the TOOLS menu on the Firefox toolbar across the top and choose PREFERENCES option.

3. Under the "Home Page:" box of the MAIN tab, type the | character that looks like a vertical line on the keyboard, then type the web address of the additional web site that you want to set as a default Home page too. If you want to have three web sites as your default home pages, you can type another | and the web address of the web site. For example, http://www.lycos.com/ | www.yahoo.com | google.com

NOTE: The | character shares the same key with the \ (back slash) character. To produce the | character, press the SHIFT key on the keyboard, while pressing it, press the \ key.

4. Click OK button.

5. Close the Firefox browser and open it again to see the result.

You will now find that the three web sites namely Lycos, Yahoo, and Google are simultaneously opening in the Firefox as tabs.
