Set Firefox 3.5.1 As Default Browser

It is possible to set the Firefox 3.5.1 as the default browser of the computer so that the web item that you want to open will automatically open in the Firefox browser. For example, if you clicked on a link in an e-mail, the link will automatically open in the Firefox browser. In the beginning of the Internet and web sites, there used to be only Netscape and Internet Explorer until the Firefox joined the stage of browsers. More and more people now prefers to use the Firefox and I really do not exactly know why.

1. Double-click the FIREFOX icon on the desktop to launch the Firefox browser. Alternatively, you can open the Firefox by clicking the START button, choose ALL PROGRAMS, choose MOZILLA FIREFOX, and click on FIREFOX. Or simply click the START button and click FIREFOX if it is showing directly under the Start button.

2. Click the TOOLS menu on the Firefox toolbar across the top and choose OPTIONS....

3. Click the ADVANCED icon button.

4. Click the GENERAL tab.

5. Put a check in the little box that says "Always check to see if Firefox is the default browser on startup".

6. Click OK button.

7. Re-start the Firefox browser by closing all Firefox window and launch it again.
