You can change the AM and PM symbols of the time that is showing on the bottom right corner of your screen. You can set it to your native language to boast it to your friends and family. Windows operating system was built on PCs which stands for Personal Computers. By the name itself, it entails more on a machine that you can personalize and that this machine adapts to your personality or on what you do in your life. In this example, the AM and PM will be replaced into Morning and Afternoon respectively.
1. Click START button, choose SETTINGS and click CONTROL PANEL. (Alternatively, click START button and click CONTROL PANEL. This is already depending on your Windows XP setup.)
2. Click the "Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options" icon.
3. Click the "Regional and Language Options" icon.
4. Click the CUSTOMIZE... button
5. Click the TIME tab.
6. Type "Morning" and "Afternoon" in the boxes "AM symbol:" and "PM symbol:" respectively.
7. Click OK button. Click OK button to close the previous "Regional and Language Options" dialogue box and other windows that are open. If you have noticed, the time now shows 4:31 Afternoon instead of PM.
