Adjust Screen Resolution On Windows XP

Monitors have their natural screen resolution and it is best if you set the screen resolution of the video card to the natural screen resolution of the monitor for optimal viewing. Monitors today usually have the natural screen resolution of 1280 x 1024. By setting the screen resolution of the computer to the natural screen resolution of the monitor will give you a more crisp and detailed images. That is why if the screen resolution is set to low, you will notice that the edges of the images are rugged as if they are the sharp edge of the cutting saw.

Likewise, if everything is your screen is too big or two small for your eyes, you can adjust the screen resolution of your computer to the setting that is convenient for you.

This is for Windows XP.

1. Right-click on an empty area on your desktop view (the wallpaper) and choose PROPERTIES.

2. Click the SETTINGS tab.

3. Slide the slider bar for "Screen Resolution" to your desired setting.

4. Click OK button.
