Set Brave Browser To Cycle Between Two Recently Used Tabs

By utilizing the CTRL + TAB keys of the keyboard on the active browser window, you will be cycled through the opened tabs. On the Brave browser, you can set it to only cycle between two recently used tabs instead of cycling through all of the opened tabs. In this way, you will be able to work on two specific tabs only by switching between them using the CTRL + ALT keys. This is the same with using the ALT + TAB keys to switch between two recently used programs that are currently opened in the Windows operating system. It does not make sense to cycle through multiple tabs just to go back to the previous tab that you were working on.

Here are the steps to set the Brave browser to cycle only between two recently used tabs when utilizing the CTRL + TAB keys.

1. Click the CUSTOMIZE AND CONTROL BRAVE icon that is located on the top right corner of the Brave browser window, then click the SETTINGS option.

2. Scroll down the Settings page by using the scroller located on the right edge of the Brave browser window until you find the "Cycle through the most recently used tabs with Ctrl-Tab" option.

3. Click the "Cycle through the most recently used tabs with Ctrl-Tab" option to turn on the switch.

4. Click the red X button that is located on the top right corner of the Brave browser window to close it.
