The mouse of the Desktop PCs has two basic buttons which are the left and right buttons. The left button of the mouse is the most used one and it is used for clicking and dragging items in the screen. The right button is the one used for menu options. On the Windows 10 operating system, you can switch the functions of the mouse buttons so that the left button will be the one for menu options and the right one is for the clicking and dragging. This option is helpful for people who are left hander, though; there are left hander people who just simply stick to the default functions of the mouse buttons. This is also helpful if the left button of the mouse is not working anymore where you can simply switch its function to the right button until you get a new mouse.
Here are the steps to switch the functions of the left and right buttons of the mouse.
1. Right-click on the START button that is usually located at the bottom left corner of the screen and choose RUN option.
2. Type control panel into the "Open:" field box and click on the OK button.
3. Click the HARDWARE AND SOUND link.
4. Click the MOUSE link.
5. Click the check box labeled "Switch primary and secondary buttons" to put a check in it.
6. Click OK button to save the new setting.
