The KMPlayer is one of the best multimedia players as well as alternative to the equally awesome VLC media player. The KMPlayer also known as K-Multimedia Player or simply KMP can play all kinds of multimedia format and their motto is "We play all" which they won't let you down with that. The KMPlayer is also rich in settings that you can tailor to your preference and toy around with them. You do not have to worry about messing with the settings because the KMPlayer just like most modern software today have the option to reset all of its settings to their default with just a click of a button. If the KMPlayer does not play the multimedia file as expected after changing the settings, you just need to reset them to their default.
Here are the steps to reset the KMPlayer settings to default.
1. Click the KMPLAYER menu button located at its top left corner and click on OPTIONS... to open the Options window. (Alternatively, you can hit the F2 key on the keyboard.)
2. Click the MISCELLANEOUS category on the left pane.
3. Click the RESET button on the right pane.
4. Click the YES button to confirm to reset all settings to their default.
