The Taskbar of the Windows 10 is the strip that is usually located at the bottom of the screen and has the Start button located at its far left end and the time at its far right end as well as the apps icons and the System Tray in between. The Taskbar of the Windows 10 now have the Cortana and the Task View added which can be removed anytime. The Taskbar can be moved to a different location in the screen other than the bottom location like to the left, top, and right location. You can also set the Taskbar to automatically hide when not in use to view more of the Desktop space.
Here are the steps to set Windows 10 to automatically hide the Taskbar in desktop mode.
1. Right-click on any free area of the Taskbar and choose TASKBAR SETTINGS option.
2. Click the switch labeled "Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode" to turn it on.
3. Click the X icon located at the top right corner of the Settings Windows to close it.
