Permanently Show Ribbon Strip Of File Explorer On Windows 10

The Ribbon strip of the File Explorer of the Windows 10 operating system is minimized by default. The Ribbon strip is a compilation of tools represented by their respective icons and categorized by their usages. The tools on the File Explorer have three categories by default which are Home, Share, and View. More categories will be added depending on the files inside the folder you opened to provide more tools corresponding to them. It is most convenient if the Ribbon strip is shown permanently on the toolbar of the File Explorer so that you can easily access the tools you need to work on your files instead of opening the Ribbon every time you need to do an action.

Here are the steps to permanently show the Ribbon strip of the File Explorer on Windows 10.

First Method:
Press down the CTRL key on the keyboard while the File Explorer is the current active window in front of you, while pressing it down, hit the F1 key.

Second Method:
Click the icon that looks like an arrow pointing down located at the top right area of the File Explorer window.

Third Method:
Right-click along the free area of the toolbar menu section and click the tick box labeled "Minimize the Ribbon" to remove the check in it.
