Set Brave Web Browser To Clear Browsing Data On Exit

The web browser software put tiny text files to the computer called cookies as well as downloads the temporary internet files every time you visit websites. The temporary internet files are the bits and pieces that make up the content of the webpages. Overtime, your computer will accumulate these files that can sometimes cause browsing problems such as showing outdated information of the websites the next time you visit them. The cookies on the other hand keeps you signed on to your online accounts and remember the preferences you set such as languages, themes, and so on. The cookies can also be used to track your browsing activity to streamline the advertisements that are being shown to you. For privacy and security reason, you can set the Brave software to automatically erase the cookies, temporary internet files, browsing history, and other browsing records every time you close it. In this way, you are automatically logged off from your online accounts when you close the Brave software even if you did not actually signed out as well as clean your computer right away. This option is like browsing in private window also knows as incognito in other browsers.
