The Brave software is a free and open-source web browser based on the Chromium engine. It has a built-in ad-blocking that removes advertisements from websites and provides its own privacy-respecting ad-feature that appears as notifications at the bottom right corner. The Brave web browser is known for advertisement revenue-sharing program so that users will earn money while browsing the internet. You can use the Brave web browser to download any files available on the internet and it directly saves them into the download folder of the Windows operating system. You can set the Brave software to always ask you where to save each file before downloading them, in this way; you can organize your files right away instead of transferring them one by one to their respective folders afterwards. I am looking forward that future versions of web browsers will give us the option to set them to automatically save each type of file to be downloaded into their respective folders.
Here are the steps to set the Brave web browser version 1 for Windows to always ask where to save each file before downloading them.
1. Click the CUSTOMIZE AND CONTROL icon that looks like three horizontal lines on top of each other located at the top right corner of the Brave window, and then click on SETTINGS option.
2. Click the ADDITIONAL SETTINGS option on the left pane. (Maximize the Brave window if the left pane is not present.)
3. Scroll down the left pane to the bottom by using the scroll bar.
4. Click the DOWNLOADS option.
5. Click the switch labeled "Ask where to save each file before downloading" to turn it on.
6. Click the X button located at the top right corner.
