The Opera web browser have two options to reset it to a default state, the first one will reset all the settings to their defaults without erasing your personal data, and the second one is destructive which will not only reset all the settings to their defaults but will also erase all your personal data. The second option will remove your pinned tabs, revert your search engine to its default, uninstall all extensions except the preinstalled Opera Ad Blocker, delete all your saved bookmarks and speed dials, erase your browsing history, saved passwords, temporary internet files, and cookies. It is short of doing a fresh reinstallation of the Opera web browser. When having problems accessing websites and resetting the settings to the defaults did not work, it is recommended to make a backup copy of your bookmarks and proceed with the full reset.
