Unlock Windows XP Taskbar

The Windows XP Taskbar is the horizontal bar that is in the bottom of the screen, which is its default location after installing a fresh copy of the Windows XP operating system. The Windows XP Taskbar has the START button on its left end and the time on its right end. You can change the location of the Taskbar by dragging it with the mouse pointer to either left side, right side, and or top side. If in case you are not able to drag the Taskbar in any location aforementioned, this just means that the Taskbar is locked. Therefore, you will have to unlock the Taskbar for you to be able to move it to another location.

1. Right-click on any empty area of the Windows XP Taskbar and choose LOCK THE TASKBAR option so that the check mark before it will be removed.


The Windows XP Taskbar in unlocked mode and you can now drag it with the mouse pointer to other locations.
