Enable Auto-Complete Of User Name & Password On MSIE 6.0

Are you tired typing your User Name and Password every time you sign on to your account on a web site? Or when you sign on to your e-mail address to send and receive your e-mails? Again, it is possible to set the Internet Explorer to remember the user name or e-mail address and its password, and they will be stored in the browser. It work the same manner as with the auto completing of the web addresses in the web address bar and in the fields or boxes on forms. When you type into the "User Name" box, the browser will show a pull down menu showing the previously typed user names or e-mail addresses that you can choose from. Once you clicked on a user name that you want to use, the Internet Explorer 6.0 will automatically fill in the "Password" box with the corresponding password for the user name that you chose. When the Internet Explorer fills the "Password" box, it will only show asterisks (*) to protect your password.

Likewise, you can set the Internet Explorer to prompt you first before it will save the user name and password in case you do not want it to remember every user name and password.

Warning! If there are other people who are also using your computer, setting the browser to remember the user name and its password is not the right thing to do. This should only be done if you are the only person who is using your computer or with someone you can trust.
