The GO Button In Address Bar Is Missing

The GO button in the web address bar of the Internet Explorer 6.0 may be missing because it was not enabled in the Internet Options. If find that the GO button is missing in the address bar after you typed a web address, you can hit the ENTER key on the keyboard instead, which is probably what you usually do. However, there are times that you really need to have the GO button there. Who knows? It is probably easier to use the GO button over the other options.

1. Click the TOOLS menu on the Internet Explorer toolbar across the top and choose INTERNET OPTIONS....

2. Click the ADVANCED tab.

3. Scroll down the "Settings:" list until you find the SHOW GO BUTTON IN ADDRESS BAR and put a check in its little box.

4. Click OK button.

The GO button is back in the web address bar.
