The Windows Taskbar at the bottom right corner beside the clock is like the mini toolbar with the essential icons for the applications that you might not usually utilize from time to time unlike the icons or buttons that are in the main taskbar. This mini toolbar with icons next to the clock on the Windows taskbar is officially called the Notification Area, but it is most commonly known as the System Tray among users and developers. You can show or hide specific icons in the system tray to remove clutter so that you will be able to reach to the applications that you need mostly as well as to see right away the status of the applications that you care the most in accomplishing your daily task.
Here are the steps to hide a specific icon from the System Tray on Windows 10 operating system.
1. Right-click on any empty area of the Windows Taskbar, then choose TASKBAR SETTINGS option.
2. Scroll down the Taskbar page by using the scroller on the right edge until you find the Notification area category.
3. Under Notification area category, click the SELECT WHICH ICONS APPEAR ON THE TASKBAR link.
4. In this case, click the switch labeled "Microsoft OneDrive" to turn it off.
5. Click the X button located at the top right corner to close the Settings window.
