By default, the Vivaldi internet browser will download the internet download files to the Download folder of the Windows operating system. You can change the default download folder to the folder that you prefer so that you can already organize the files that you will be downloading. For example, if you will be downloading or saving pictures of cars, you can create a new folder named Cars and set it as the default download folder. In this way, all the car pictures that you will be downloading will be saved right away in a specific folder and there is no need to organize them at a later time. Having your preferred download folder will also save you time on finding your downloaded files at a later time.
Here are the steps to set the default download folder on Vivaldi internet browser.
1. Click the MENU icon that is located at the top left corner of the Vivaldi browser window, then click the SETTINGS option.
2. Click the DOWNLOADS category on the left pane.
3. Click the SELECT FOLDER... button.
4. Click the NEW FOLDER button.
5. Type the name of the new folder where you want to save your Vivaldi internet downloads.
6. In this case, type CARS as an example, then hit the ENTER key on the keyboard.
7. Click the SELECT FOLDER button.
8. Click the X button located at the top right corner to close the Settings window.
