Save Log In Username & Password On Mozilla Firefox

Saving your online accounts log in usernames and passwords make signing in to your online accounts convenient. It will save you time and effort because you do not have to type in your username and its password, and this can also lessen mistyping your password, which is a common mistake when signing on. However, this can present security issue if you are not the only person who is using the computer where you saved or stored your password because they will be able to login to your online accounts, as well as see your usernames and passwords and make a copy of them. Also, if you changed your password or updated it, you must also make sure that you update the password saved on the browser.

Here are the steps to save or store your username and password on Mozilla Firefox browser.

1. Click the MENU icon located at the top right corner of the Mozilla Firefox window, and then choose PASSWORD option.


2. Click the + button to open the window where you can type in your login information.


3. Type the website's web address in the "Website address" box, then your username in the "Username" box, and then type in your password in the "Password" box. Click the SAVE button afterwards.


4. Click the red X button located at the top right corner of the Mozilla Firefox window to close it.
