Set Mozilla Firefox CTRL + TAB To Toggle Between Last Two Used Tabs

The Mozilla Firefox browser is one of the best if not the best web browser at this time. The CTRL + TAB keyboard combination will have you toggle between tabs for easy navigation. By default, pressing the CTRL key followed by the TAB key, will have you cycle through the opened tabs from left to the right. You can set this tab toggling option to switch between the last two recently used opened tabs only. This option is very useful to easily switch between two tabs that helps greatly in productivity. Switching between tabs using the mouse cursor or pointer is cumbersome.

Here are the steps to set the Mozilla Firefox browser to toggle between the last two recently used opened tabs only.

1. Click the MENU icon that is located the top right corner of the Firefox window. It looks like three horizontal bars on top of each other. This icon is also called hamburger because it looks like bun and the filling in the middle.

2. Under the GENERAL category on the left side, click the check box labeled "Ctrl + Tab cycles through tabs in recently used order" to put a check in it.

3. Click the red X button located at the top right corner of the Firefox window to close it.
